Enderun Extension, in partnership with the Project Management Institute (PMI), offers the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) qualification. This is PMI’s entry-level project management certification for project managers worldwide. The CAPM® certification indicates knowledge of the principles and terminology within A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Seventh Edition, which outlines generally recognized best practices in project management.

Bi-monthly Enrollment

Learners may choose from multiple scheduled intakes throughout the year to begin their CAPM® exam preparation. With new classes starting every two months, students can select the intake that best fits their personal or professional schedule.

Asynchronous Learning

Students study the modules and other learning materials on Matrix Learning Management System (LMS) at their own pace within 3 months.

Hy-Flex Synchronous Session

The CAPM® class includes three instructor-led Hy-Flex (Hybrid/Flexible) sessions, scheduled throughout the six-month course. Additionally, there will be quarterly hybrid review sessions to reinforce and practice the lessons learned. Students are encouraged to proactively connect with their instructor to catch up on any missed sessions.

Instructor-led Learning (HyFlex)

The CAPM® class includes 5 instructor-led Hy-Flex (Hybrid/Flexible) sessions, scheduled weekly during the first month of the course. Additionally, there will be quarterly hybrid review sessions to reinforce and practice the lessons learned. Students are encouraged to proactively connect with their instructor to catch up on any missed sessions.

Certification Assessment

The CAPM® examination consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, drag-and-drop-style inquiries, animations/comic strips, and hotspot queries. Candidates are granted a designated time frame of three hours for the completion of the CAPM examination.

FAQs

1. What are the prerequisites of the course?
A high school degree
2. I do not have any experience in project management. Am I qualified to take the course?
Yes, you do not need any events management experience, but having some is a definite bonus.
3. Will the classes be online?
Yes, online synchronous classes will be held via Zoom. Asynchronous sessions will also be online via Matrix Learning Management System.
4. If I miss a class, will there be any make up classes?
We do not offer any make up classes, but you can request for a class recording.
5. Does the Certified Associate in Project Management program have a certification exam?
Yes. After completing the course, students will need to communicate and request for their examination code for them to schedule their certification examination.
6. In case I fail the certification examination, is there a retake option available?
Yes. Students may take the examination for a maximum of 3 times within a year in the event that they fail. Additional fees apply for a retake examination.

Lei Mirabel

Ms. Lei Mirabel is an experienced project manager having worked with different business functions across Digital Transformation, HR Shared Services, Technology, Financial and Banking Operations, Contact Centres, and Business Consultancy Services. She is currently with AIA as Agency Program Manager for all the apps and platforms under ASG; Project Manager for some of the highest funded digital transformation projects for ASG; graduate of AIA’s 1st Agile Practitioner Cohort and a former Agile Coach for the front runner tribes.

Anne Bernadette Bello

Anne Bernadette Bello graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in 2007 with a BS Management degree minor in Economics. She started her career as a Business Analyst in 2007 and soon moved to a Project Manager career in 2009. She got her PMP certification in 2015 while working for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. She has handled several local and global projects from local and multinational companies. She is currently working as a Senior Project Manager for Indra currently handling projects for the different local and global customers.

Joy Wilgin Ong

Joy Wilgin Ong is a Certified Scrum Master and has PMP and ITIL certifications. She is currently working as the Head of Org Transformation at Summit Media.

She graduated from the University of the Philippines in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Research. She also has a Master’s Degree in Technology Management. She has been affiliated with companies like 3M, ING, and Summit Media where she has been instrumental in their agile transformation. She has been practicing project management and agile coaching for years. To add, she is a career coach for underprivileged youth.
