Enderun Colleges and Enderun Extension signed a partnership agreement with Microsoft and CloudSwyft on September 19, 2019 in Taguig.
Enderun has collaborated with Microsoft and CloudSwyft on a suite of modern technology courses, featuring three primary sets: Data Analysis, Introduction to Python Development, and Data Science for AI. Cloudswyft is an online platform which hosts learning courses in partnership with major companies like Microsoft. They create standardized platforms for their partners such as Enderun’s Tech Academy.
According to Enderun Colleges Co-Founder and Senior Vice President Danny Perez, “We are very happy to partner with Microsoft and CloudSwyft because we believe they will greatly help our students prepare for the jobs of the future by building technology-based skills which in turn can also be very beneficial for their future employers or businesses.”
Accessible through Enderun’s Tech Academy and powered by CloudSwyft, Enderun Colleges and Enderun Extension students will be able to work with the unique electronic laboratory interface on which they can complete the Microsoft courses at their own pace. Upon completion, participants will be awarded official digital badges from Microsoft, which they can later on showcase on their resumes and employment profiles such as LinkedIn. A full slew of courses will be rolled out in the near future, including tracks on subjects such as IoT, PowerBI, DevOps, and CyberSecurity.
CloudSwyft Founder and CEO Dann De Guzman shared his optimism saying, “I believe this partnership is one of the significant milestones in the country when it comes to technology upskilling and digital upskilling. Microsoft Enterprise Channel Manager for Education Paolo Balinas also adds, “I’m really excited about the partnership between CloudSwyft, Enderun and Microsoft for this upskilling initiative. The World Economic Forum actually estimates that 800 million jobs will be impacted by AI and these new age technologies. And the challenge that the industry, business and schools have is there seems to be a growing gap between what business need and what schools are actually able to produce in terms of their recent graduates. This is a great development to enable Enderun students for future-ready skills and experiences that will bridge the gap.”
