Course Description

The WSET Level 3 Award in Wines is an advanced level qualification for professionals working in the wine industry and for wine enthusiasts.

For individuals seeking to delve deeper into the world of wines, this qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.

What you’ll learn

Unit 1

Stephanie Lim

Stephanie Lim, DipWSET, is a highly qualified WSET Certified Educator and Internal Assessor based in Manila. With expertise in teaching up to Level 3 in Wines and a background in the MW Programme, she is currently taking a break from her pursuit of the Master of Wine qualification. Stephanie’s passion for wine education is evident in her dedication to guiding students toward success in both formal and informal wine learning environments.

Beyond teaching, she organizes wine-tasting sessions, particularly for WSET Level 3 and Level 4 candidates. With 15 years of extensive travel experience from her tenure with Singapore Airlines, Stephanie has explored numerous wine regions worldwide, fostering her belief in the unifying power of wine across cultures. Her credentials include a WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits, a Rioja Wine Diploma, an EHL Wine Investment Course certification, and accolades such as the French Wine Scholar with Highest Honor and Certified Specialist of Wine. Stephanie holds a BA (Hons) in Business Administration with 1st Class Honors from the University of East London.
